Description
Mabel is a pleated dress with a deep V-neckline and wide batwing sleeves that drape from the shoulder to around the elbow. Fine pleats fan out across the bodice from the shoulders, drawing in to a smooth, fitted waistband.
Below the waistband, the pleats run in long vertical lines through a skirt that skims the hip and falls to the floor, opening with movement as you walk. The pleating gives the whole dress texture and a soft sheen in the light, while the loose sleeves balance the close-fitting waist.
It suits weddings, formal dinners and day events. Pair with heeled sandals, a small embellished clutch and simple drop earrings, letting the pleats do the work.
